I like the word momentum. Momentum is simply defined as, "force or speed of movement; impetus, as of a physical object or course of events." (Dictionary.com) I am fascinated by the word because of its dynamism. Momentum is dynamic. It is not a scalar quantity because it has clearly defined direction. Anyone who is sensitive to strange winds blowing in recent times will realize that moments of momentum are with us. Only those who are initiated into the culture of decency, integrity, righteousness and truthfulness will discern that the Hand of God is the driving force behind present moments of momentum.
This time around the mercy of God is still targeting those who are conscience-stricken. However, just as in the case of Judas Iscariot (betrayer of Christ) the 'dollar' effect has dulled and is still dulling senses among those who are destined for destruction. Hearing they will not hear. Seeing they cannot see. The common man who operates in righteousness and with clear conscience has nothing to fear in a catastrophe of impending judgment. The encouraging word is encoded in my people's adage that says, "whoever the masquerade is pursuing should not faint as spirits do get tired, equally as earthlings get tired".
Moments of momentum are defined by benchmark of happenstances that change an individual or an organization's destiny. Forces of momentum originate from two fundamental sources; righteousness and unrighteousness. The righteous source is tied to the trinity of divinity while the unrighteous source is inevitably linked to man's vanity, and insatiable lust for materialism.
"Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall He speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure." (Psalm 2:1-5)
Many suffer from paradox of power forgetting that power belongs to God. They are ensnared, trapped and caged as prisoners of their illusions forgetting the counsel of Psalm 94:9-11; "He Who planted the ear, shall He not hear? He Who formed the eye, shall He not see? He Who disciplines and instructs the nations, shall He not punish, He Who teaches man knowledge?
The Lord knows the thoughts of man, that they are vain (empty and futile—only a breath)."
Gathering together of men of God under whatever platform will never produce the effect a SON of GOD will produce. For God so loved the world that He did not send the Pentecostal Federation of the Universe. He also did not send the Christian Association of Heaven. Man-made convoluted federations and associations are easily susceptible to hijacks by 'rulers of synagogue'. God therefore sent His only begotten Son, to save the world and also to clone many more like him, hallelujah!
Day in day out, my soliloquy is now based on Psalms 74:9-10, "We do not see our signs; there is no longer any prophet; nor is there any among us who knows how long. O God, how long will the adversary reproach? will the enemy blaspheme Your name forever?" and I add, will the transgression of 'synagogue of satan' triumph eternally? Definitely not, the victory by The Blood is potent, powerful and eternally overbearing.
"We are hedged in (pressed) on every side [troubled and oppressed in every way], but not cramped or crushed; we suffer embarrassments and are perplexed and unable to find a way out, but not driven to despair; We are pursued (persecuted and hard driven), but not deserted [to stand alone]; we are struck down to the ground, but never struck out and destroyed; Always carrying about in the body the liability and exposure to the same putting to death that the Lord Jesus suffered, so that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be shown forth by and in our bodies for we who live are constantly [experiencing] being handed over to death for Jesus’ sake, that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be evidenced through our flesh which is liable to death. Thus death is actively at work in us, but [it is in order that our] life [may be actively at work] in you. (2 Corinthians 4:8-12, Amplified Bible)
Christianity is full of hypocrisy these days. Acts of Culturist have overtaken the Acts of Apostles. It was difficult for the orthodox Israelites to accept Christ truly as the Son of God because He came physically as the son of a carpenter. Son of God is the object while son of carpenter is the shadow. Just as in real life, the shadow is totally submerged when light shines directly on the object. The truth of Christ being the Son of God becomes more significant than his existence as son of a carpenter. The light of God shines directly on Christ all the time, amen.
Christians must therefore be challenged to truthfully, fearlessly and unapologetically enforce the victory won by Christ on the cross. Yes truth is bitter and remains eternally offensive to the untruthful. Nevertheless we must still challenge processes and acts that misinterpret the gospel. This is what leaders do. WOE to those who are at ease in Zion and to those on the mountain of Samaria who are careless and feel secure, the notable men of the chief [because chosen by God] of the nations, to whom the house of Israel comes! (Amos 6:1)
THE VERDICT
For me to live is Christ [His life in me], and to die is gain [the gain of the glory of eternity]. If, however, it is to be life in the flesh and I am to live on here, that means fruitful service for me; so I can say nothing as to my personal preference [I cannot choose] Philippians 1:21-22
